Who are you, why are you doing this?
Oh, that is an easy one. Look here and here
Why should I join and if I do what will you do with my information?
You should join because this site is filled with people who can help
you find a career, help you with discovering the pathway to that career
and even mentor you as you progress. The site is also filled with
students a lot like you. As far as your information goes, the stuff you
submit to us will never be used commercially or sold in any way. We
value your privacy. Just like we value our own. That being said, if you
release private info to other users, that is up to you and we cannot
control that now can we?
Is this like a MySpace or Facebook site?
Hey! You are smart! Yes, it sort of is. This is a social network. A
site that lets YOU create the content and form groups or social
networks around specific ideas. But, unlike myspace or faebook, we are
not selling you junk along the way. If you want to buy junk, please see
my Amazon affiliate page. /JK.
What else can I do here?
Well, that kind of depends who you are. If you are a student the
idea is for you to add items for us all to talk about and share ideas
about. We also hope you will connect with professionals who are in the
career you one day want to be a part of. ( I just ended TWO sentences
in a preposition, nice!) We have place for you and those professionals
to engage in "E-Mentoring" , and our hope is that this process helps
you to be a more effective healthcare professional one day. We are
totally selfless and tranparent like that.
If you are one of those professionals, we hope you enter into
conversations with tomorrow's heathcare workers in the groups. We also
hope that you would help us by participating in "E-Mentoring" these
students as they make their way through their career pathway. The
benfits to mentorship and supporting these students is obvious,
powerfull, and far-reaching, but if you want some evidence of that, look here.

Who made this? How? With What?
Well, that is a good question. Before I answer this it reminds
me to say that this site looks terrible in IE 6 and barely tolerable in
IE 7/ Vista. However it looks like the sun rising over a hawaiian beach
in Firefox.
You should get Firefox RIGHT NOW if you don't have it. You and your virus protection software can thank me later.
